ACCOMODATION AND THE CENTRE
All rooms have private bathrooms. There is a communal area in the cellar with projector and lots of movies. The garden is large and secluded with a big orchard and a small pool. There’s loads of garden space to relax and study in the south facing grounds. We have all the equipment you’ll need for your stay including towels, yoga mats, study equipment, library of study books, pens and paper if you need them.
MEALS
We are all vegetarian and vegan. We can cater for most diets, but please let us know before you arrive. There will be plenty to eat, and snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. During your stay the centre is alcohol free, but we may get chance to pop down to the village for a beer.

TRAVEL
Flights and transfers are not included. We can arrange transport or help with transfers if needed. We can usually arrange cheap transfers from most airports depending on availability. We are around 3 hours from Sofia with a regular coach service to Veliko Tarnovo which is close by.
THE VENUE
Yoga Dharma BG has been established for 20 years and during that time we have continuously offered yoga retreats and yoga training courses.
The centre is ideally located in a peaceful hamlet, but also within easy reach of cafes and restaurants. We are in an established area for tourism and our guests are always literally blown away with the venue and the location.

We are a yoga centre and as such our philosophy is Sutric/Tantric. The practices and the philosophy are drawn from authentic and verifiable sources such as the Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Bhagavad Gita.
Although we are a yoga centre other philosophies and traditions may be discussed in relation to the history of yoga, such as Buddhism, Jainism and Zen.

PLACES TO VISIT
Bulgaria is a beautiful country with loads of history dating back to the Thracians. There are two international airports on the Black sea coastal towns of Varna and Burgas. Both are great places to have a stopover with loads to do and see. .
Sofia has a long and varied history with Roman, Greek and medieval buildings and churches. Sofia is generally much cheaper to stay and eat. There are amazing restaurants and great hotels all within walking distance of the city centre highlights.
Plovdiv was an important Roman town and has a Roman amphitheater in the city centre. The old quarter of Plovdiv has many features including the street restaurants and antique shops. The airport is just a short taxi ride away.
