A series of 4 micro-workshops

with two teachers, Susan Mcallister and Michelle Bappoo, aimed to widen your experience of yoga and guide you through specific kramas or sets of linked postures. We will explore a different theme for each of the four weeks.

23/08/17 THE UNSTRUCK SOUND – Anahata Chakra at the Heart Centre.
We will focus on heart-opening postures which will promote self-love and self-worth; learn how to grow your inner-confidence. On a physical level, we will bring strength and flexibility into the spine. By opening the body and the mind up to love in our heart-centred workshop we can dispel the faint heart and get ready to open ourselves to love. This week’s krama will involve gentle backbends, cobra, upward dog, camel, and wheel pose.

30/08/17 ANTI-AGEING YOGA FLOW + 15 MINUTE FACE YOGA SESSION
Our focus for this, our penultimate two teacher micro-workshop will be Ajna Chakra at the eyebrow centre and Vishuddhi Chakra at the throat. This taster session will leave you feeling wonderful about yourself as we focus on nurturing a positive attitude towards life and the ageing process. Sue will guide you through a specific set of postures, krama, which is aimed at rejuvenating the body, whilst Michelle will assist with deep adjustments and calibrating a positive affirmation for practice.

06/09/17 ONE THOUSAND PETALS – Blissful Relaxation through Yoga Nidra
Our final micro workshop explores Sahasrara chakra at the crown of the head, this is our connection to our true  our inner peace, our acceptance of the world around us and our place within it. This guided yoga nidra – deep relaxation – will allow you to see the world from a perspective of purity and love; a devotion to ourselves, our families, our friends, for the wider community and global community around us. In an age of turbulent change and uncertainty, learn to use yoga to soothe your mind and body and learn to decrease stress through deep relaxation. Treat yourself to an hour of blissful relaxation and calm.
