This class caters for the student with some experience of the Ashtanga system, but is still suitable for less experienced students who are physically fit.
We work through the Ashtanga Primary Sequence but this is done sympathetically which allows for adjustments and modifications for all levels. This is a traditional sequence which includes a range of postures all linked by breath and movement.
The Ashtanga system is a perfect balance of postures which flows and we build heat from the inside, which is a safe and effective.
When practised regularly the effects are remarkable. Flexibility and strength are two of the benefits, there is also the effect it has on our overall lives. Regular practitioners get a general sense of self control and calmness.
