Our yoga retreats are highly personal and specialised aimed at individuals or small groups.
Our yoga holidays are truly holistic with the whole retreat experience tailored to the group or individuals.
THE YOGA
We will shape the yoga practice around the groups or individuals requirements or needs. The yoga practice can include asana, pranayama, meditation and kriyas. Full personal advice and training is included throughout your stay. We will advise a yoga program, or work with your current practice.
A DEEPER LOOK AT YOGA
One of our specialisms is the presentations of yoga including the philosophy of yoga, the history of yoga. Presentations on tantra, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Bhagavad Gita
We can also offer presentations on all areas of the subtle body, including the Koshas, The Vayus, the Granthis, Bandhas and the Nadis and Chakras.
All or some of these can be included in your stay.
OUR LARDER
We are all vegetarian and vegan. Our larder is stocked with locally grown and produce with our honey, tofu, yoghurt, eggs, salad, herbs and veggies from our neighbors market garden.
THE MENUS
All your onsite meals, tea, coffee, juice’s, smoothies are included in your stay. We can cater for most diets, with a variety of choices at each sitting. We usually have the luxury of a professional chef on hand.
INCUDED EXCURSIONS
We are in the heart of the Bulgarian countryside, and our centre is within a nature reserve. We are surrounded by traditional Bulgarian culture and history all on our doorstep.
Whether you want to swim in sparklingly clear waterfalls, visit working monasteries, take a Sulphur bath, set out on a days hike over our mountain stopping of in the villages, visit the medieval town of Veliko Tarnovo, look at the Roman archeological site Nicopolis, take a drive over the Shipka pass to visit the Thracian tombs or just get a beer in our local bar we have it all.

We have been here over 20 years operating yoga retreats and yoga training courses, so you can rely on us to know what we are doing.
Nestled in a secluded hamlet overlooking the Balkan mountains whichever way you look there is an amazing vista.

We have a large private south facing garden with a small pool and sundeck. Adjacent is our orchard and fire pit. We make our own jam, and preserves from the fruit of our trees. Its the perfect setting to relax on a warm summers day.
FARM HOUSE WITH ORIGINAL FEATURES
The centre is a traditional farm house that has been modernised to include private bathrooms. It is full of features such as original beams and natural stone walls and floors. There is a dedicated guest space with large comfy sofas, a projector with movies, a library of yoga books and tea and coffee available throughout.

TRAVEL
Flights and transfers are not included. We can arrange transport or help with transfers if needed. We can usually arrange cheap transfers from most airports depending on availability. We are around 3 hours from Sofia with a regular coach service to Veliko Tarnovo which is close by.

PLACES TO STOP OVER WHILE IN BULGARIA
Bulgaria is a beautiful country and is largely rural. There are international airports at Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Varna. These towns have history and beaches and amazingly cheap restaurants and hotels. There are direct travel links to Veliko Tarnovo where we can arrange a short transfer to the centre.
